I used to study at GSICS during 2006-2008; it was a place where I gained a lot of knowledge and experience to fulfill my career. At GSICS, there are many interesting subjects relate to education, economics, laws and others for students to apply. Moreover, professors and students are very supportive and helpful. It was a great opportunity for me to be one of Ogawa seminar students. Professor Ogawa provides valuable lessons in both theoretical and practical and tries to encourage every student to express, share ideas, give comments about each student paper and thesis, which is very a valuable experience and knowledge gained from this seminar.
Furthermore, I got the chance to do an internship in Okinawa Island which was a wonderful chance for me that I have never expected before. I have learned 3 important things from this internship as well as from Japanese people which were (1) hard working, (2) punctuality, (3) team work. Before I joined GSICS and Ogawa seminar, I was a quiet and shy person with limited knowledge. After I graduated, I felt confident and had enough capacity to work in a higher position than before. I got a job as a consultant with a project funded by JICA in my country. The project is supporting the Ministry of Planning and Investment on capacity building. I am glad that I can apply my knowledge and experience that gained from Japan to contribute to my country development. Finally, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Japanese Government, Professor Ogawa, other professors and all of my friends at GSICS to make me have today.
