Since 2006, 192 students have obtained their master’s degrees under my main supervision. Some of them have pursued their advanced degree at Kobe University, while the rest of the students have been working for academic institutions (e.g., Hiroshima University, Toyohashi Institute of Technology, University of Malawi), international organizations (e.g., UNICEF, UNESCO, Asia Development Bank, World Bank), bilateral organization (e.g., JICA), government organizations (e.g., Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda, Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in Yemen), private sectors (e.g., Fujitsu, Nissan, Isuzu, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Benesse, Deloitte) and international NGOs (e.g., Shanti Volunteer). The employment rate of master’s graduate in my seminar is 100 percent and almost all have obtained a job prior to their graduation.
