Mr. Ayumu Yagi is a Doctoral Student in the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies at Kobe University and a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for Promotion Sciences (JSPS). Prior to the current position, he served as a Doctoral Project Research Fellow at Kobe University. His research interest lies in the economics of education and education policy analysis in sub-Saharan Africa. Specifically, he currently focuses on recent pre-primary education reform in Kenya and its effect. Also, he has internship experience at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Kenyatta University. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Kobe University and a Bachelor of Arts from International Christian University.
