Ms. Emi UHARA is a Non-Formal Education / Monitoring Expert for the Advancing Quality Alternative Learning (AQAL) Project in Pakistan at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). She provides technical input to develop and implement the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) at primary and early secondary education level through monitoring and evaluation activities. Before joining JICA, she worked with the Human Capital Unit at the Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting and with the International Programs Department at the Save the Children Japan. She has experience in project management in the fields of Education Development and Education in Emergency. She holds a MA in economics from Kobe University, Japan.
