Dr. Meng Xiaodong holds a Ph. D from the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies, Kobe University. As a researcher, her passion lies in the field of international education development, especially early childhood education. Her academic journey has involved exploring education policies, curriculum standards, parental involvement, and evaluation of children’s performance across diverse cultural and economic contexts. She aspires to drive positive changes in education systems globally, especially in regions with limited resources and progress, while empowering educators and parents to create lasting impacts on their children through research, teaching, and collaborations. Her research interests lie in education policy development, teacher professional development, developmental psychology, and Confucian philosophy within education in Eastern, and Southeast Asia.
