Message to Potential Candidates to Ogawa Seminar
I pursued a master’s course in order to clarify my career vision and to cultivate my expertise as a practitioner in the field of educational development. I have been making use of Ogawa seminar’s precious opportunities such as meeting experts and practical experiences as the key milestones to achieve these purposes.
Currently, more than 50 students belong to Ogawa seminar and half of the students are international students drawn from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Kyrgyz, Lao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Uganda, Vietnam, and Yemen. Most of them have practical knowledge based on their working experiences in various institutions such as Ministry of Education, international organizations, and international NGOs. Therefore, Ogawa seminar provides you a good learning environment not only to acquire knowledge and skills but also to broaden your knowledge nationally and internationally. In addition, seminar students have opportunities to learn from internationally recognized and respected lecturers and Ogawa seminar alumni with rich practical experiences. Moreover, Prof. Ogawa provides us with real opportunities of conducting internship in national and international institutions. Through Prof. Ogawa, students can take part in internship, field study at Washington DC, organize/ coordinate events, and get actively involved in his research projects. On a personal note, the experiences of working as a student coordinator during JICA group training and internship in Uganda helped me to enrich my understanding of the operations/ roles of these organizations.
The opportunities above will support you to clarify your career vision and to enhance your capacity for work. I am looking forward to seeing you. Let us make our dreams come true together.
