Mr. Takumi Kobayashi is currently a doctoral student at Kobe University Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies and also works as a consultant at Kumon Institute of Education. His research interest lies in the economics of education and education policy analysis. He especially researches on Uganda’s primary education, focusing on community and parental participation in education and learning outcomes. He also has some practical experience in the World Bank as a consultant. He obtained his master’s degree in economics from Kobe University.
