I started my PhD program under the supervision of Professor Keiichi Ogawa in GSICS at Kobe University in 2009 and graduated in 2012. During the time of study, I enjoyed my stay in Kobe City and particularly in GSICS. Mostly important to mention was the Ogawa ZEMI, a group of students and Prof. Ogawa, the instructor, the mentor and academic advisor to the students in this group. All the administrative staff from the academic affairs in GSICS and student general body was very helpful.
I cherish the style of organizing and managing academic seminars Prof. Ogawa organized and involvement of all Ogawa ZEMI students in participating actively in preparation and discussions. During these seminars I learnt quite a lot and I am able to make similar arrangements for Cabinet Minister’s retreats at my current place of work.
I am therefore very proud to be associated with Ogawa ZEMI and look forward to keep receiving all sorts of communications from the same group. My joining GSICS for PhD undoubtedly created a foundation for strengthening my research and leadership skills and confidence levels in delivering seminars and key note addresses at international academic conferences. Thus, I am very convinced that whoever passes through the hands of Prof. Ogawa will be successful and will work with dignity.
I wish all the best of luck to the current students at Kobe University particularly those from Ogawa-ZEMI” Long Live Ogawa ZEMI!!
