Ogawa Seminar held a welcome party on April 19th 2014, for Prof. Ki-Soek Kim and the new Masters and Research Students.Prof. Ogawa welcomed Prof. Kimand his wife, and the new master and research students to the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies (GSICS) at Kobe University in general and to Ogawa Seminar in particular.
Prof. Kim pointed out that the selection of one’s academic advisor is very important, and each Ogawa seminar student should be able to learn many important things for furthering his or her academic and practical career. He also shared his dream of one day seeing Korea and Japan cooperating to promote education development in developing countries.
The organizers of the party had a surprise cake for Prof. Ogawa who was marking his 10th anniversary as a Professor at Kobe University, having joined GSICS in January 2004. It was a really nice celebration with Prof. Ogawa, despite his very busy schedule, Prof. Kim and Ogawa Family members presented at the party.
