Mr. Taiga Yano got the certificate of Teach ECE Trainer and Observer. The certificate ensures a reliable and qualified classroom observer in Early Childhood Education (ECE), provided by the World Bank Group.
Teach ECE is a classroom observation tool that measures the quality of interactions between children and teachers in ECE. Teach ECE is also expected to encourage dialogue on the importance of teacher professional development in ECE. There are several ways of using Teach ECE. Governments can use it as a system diagnostic which allows them to look into the current situations of teaching practices and teaching quality in classrooms. Teach ECE can also be recognized as a teacher professional development system. It helps to clarify individual teachers’ strengths and weaknesses and provides focus support to teachers.
Mr. Taiga Yano is working at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) while studying as a doctoral student under the supervision of Professor Ogawa.
