Ms. Rie Ueno is a doctoral student at the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies, Kobe University. She is a research fellow of the Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation (SPRING). She holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from Kobe University. Her research interests are the Sociology of Education, Teenage pregnancy, Gender, Comprehensive sexuality education, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Education and Labor market, Education Gap, Adult Learning, and Japanese-language education.
