The International Hybrid Conference on Post-COVID Japan: Economy, Politics, Society, Culture and Literature was held at the University of Dhaka on March 18th and 19th, 2022.
This conference intended to unveil factors associated with diverse areas of Japanese studies, with an emphasis on the Japanese economy, national and international politics, society, culture, and literature in the post-COVID context. The conference aimed to create a platform for Japanologists from different continents and countries to share their thoughts on post-COVID Japan, contribute to the literature of Japanese studies and put forward recommendations to the policy makers.
Professor Ogawa gave the keynote speech about Learning Loss and Gain under COVID-19 in Japanese Higher Education in the plenary session. He also presented a joint research with Dr. Alam.
In this conference, a total of 44 participants including researchers, undergraduate students and graduate students presented their research and received valuable comments and advice to help refine their studies.
