Message to Potential Candidates to Ogawa Seminar:

My name is Hinata Tanaka, and as of April 2025, I have joined the master program at the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies, Kobe University. Previously, I worked in the sales department of a human resources company in Tokyo, where I was involved in overseas projects. Through interactions with temporary workers from Myanmar, I became aware of the country’s political turmoil, humanitarian crises, and poverty issues. This experience inspired me to contribute to the field of international aid.

I am particularly interested in the field of education; an interest I developed during a Development Studies course I took during my undergraduate years. I believe that addressing educational challenges in developing countries can be a significant step toward eradicating poverty. I aim to deepen my knowledge, gain practical experience, and contribute to building a better society.

When I decided to pursue a career at an international organization and reached out to Professor Ogawa. This seminar offers numerous opportunities for hands-on learning, including internships, academic conferences, and field research. It also brings together students from diverse backgrounds, fostering an invaluable environment for networking. These are the reasons I decided to join Ogawa Zemi. I would like to try not only just getting a degree but also an internship, double degree program and publishing my thesis. Being part of such a privileged setting is one of the seminar’s special attractions. Would you like to join us in learning and growing together?
