Messages to Potential Students:
It is my pleasure to post a message as an Ogawa-Zemi alumnus to future students.
I completed my PhD in 2010 and have worked in education and research at various institutions as an academic researcher, assistant professor and lecturer.
Between 2018 and 2022, I contributed to the work of the Campus Asia Programme and the Double Degree Programme at the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies, Kobe University. I have been engaged in preparing various documents and applications for the development of the Campus Asia Programme together with Dr Ogawa. From Dr Ogawa, I learnt the importance of dealing with tasks promptly, and carrying out tasks carefully and accurately.
My work experience at Kobe University has been put to good use in my current job as a JSPS Research Fellow at Nagoya University. I have also been a visiting researcher at the Faculty of Education, Uppsala University, Sweden, where I have been conscious of carrying out my research activities carefully and precisely.
To those of you who plan to continue your studies at GSICS, I urge you to concentrate on investigating your own research topics and to take full advantage of the opportunities available to you to acquire skills that will enable you to play an active role in many fields.
Hiroko Take
Research Fellow, JSPS at Nagoya University
Guest Researcher, Uppsala University in Sweden
