Message to Potential Candidates to Ogawa Seminar:

I am Sakuya Irikado, a master’s student who entered the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies at Kobe University in April 2026. My strong interest in education development began when I traveled to India as an undergraduate student. Later, I participated in the Human Resource Development Program for Peacebuilding in Northeast India organized by The Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF), where I visited Northeast India with a focus on education development. Through exchanges with state government officials, state universities, and NGOs engaged in cross-ethnic activities, I deepened my understanding of the educational challenges in the region. In the future, I hope to study educational issues in developing countries, especially in Northeast India, and contribute to solving these challenges as a practitioner.

One of the major attractions of the Ogawa Seminar is the abundance of opportunities to gain practical experience through internships and participation in academic conferences. In addition, the seminar offers a valuable multinational environment where students can build broad networks. Why not join us in this enriching environment to learn together and challenge the world?
