Taiga YANO

Taiga Yano is a Doctoral Student in the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies at Kobe University and a representative of education sector in Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Pakistan office, especially overseeing the projects of early childhood development and non-formal education. Prior to the current position, he has served as a country officer in Southeast Asia and Pacific Department, and Office for Innovation and SDGs at JICA. His research focuses on quality of teachers in early childhood education in developing countries, especially in Lao PDR. He holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from Kobe University and a Bachelor of Arts from International Christian University.
