Dr. Kexin Wang holds a Ph.D. in the economics of education from the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies (GSICS), Kobe University. She currently works as a research fellow at Kobe University and an education consultant at the World Bank. She has internship and consultancy experiences at the International Finance Cooperation (IFC), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoEYS). Her doctoral dissertation examines how the home learning environment influences early childhood development outcomes in Bangladesh, incorporating cultural capital theory. Her research interest also lies in digital education, STEM education, and shadow education.
